    Hi,

Been having some unrelated speed issues with my internet over the weekend, I have fibre with eir anyway by chance I happened to see that my IP hasn't been dynamic and is not changing when I reboot or disconnect the modem.

So I just checked the logs for my modem and it shows a security warning about an intrusion that's been occurring regularly for months, 3 times a day at the same time.

Can yous offer any advice? Do the logs mean the intrusions were successful or were attempted?

Edit: DST in the logs is my external IP.

They're just random hits from bots and zombie machines, you'll get that, nothing to worry about. They were told go away. It happens every device with a public ip

If they were told to go away all is good.

I understand that my device is constantly being probed by bots and such, what concerned me in particular in this case is that they've been occurring at the exact same time 3 times a day for months and that other attempts as new bots or whatever came across my device weren't showing up. Thanks.
