I've been dreaming about the N17 oatmeal stout since having it in the RDS at the weekend. Does anyone know if it's available any offy in Dublin. Failing that, on tap would do.

I don't think it's in regular production. If anywhere was going to have bottles, Redmond's of Ranelagh would. DrinkStore too, most likely.

Check the shops like Baggot St with growler stations, they had the Chilli Stout a few times

It's s bit disappointing if it's not in regular production. It's amazing stuff, and I wouldn't usually be a stout man

Yeah, drinkstore was my first thought but it wasn't on their website. I might ring around a few offies and see what the story is.

Probably better to contact N17 directly. It's possible the latest batch wasn't bottled at all.

Ha. Great minds think alike. I just mailed them. I'll report back.

The brewer put up photos of some casks being filled yesterday. No idea if they contain oatmeal stout though but I'm guessing there must be at least some out there.

I think they were being cleaned rather than filled.

I got a response from Sarah in N17. She is kegging over the next couple of days. Says to watch facebook to see where they end up. She's filling 2 casks too. I recommend that everyone avoids it on cask*
