    Hello all,

I have a Griselinia border which I'm going to trim back before the winter. Can I compost the cuttings? Or should I take them to the local dump?

Anything up to 1cm diameter can go straight on the compost. Larger branches should be left aside to begin rotting first and then snipped into short pieces before being added to the heap.

Thanks Srameen. Do you know if composting it will result in blue leaf mould? I've heard that's really good for the garden.

    Not that I'm aware of.
