All Ireland One Act Drama Circuit 2016

    Well folks,
    I recall a couple of years ago that forums on this outlet were a great source of a social hub for all people interested in the Amateur Drama Circuit movement.
    I hope with this thread we can reignite some healthy and interesting discussions about the upcoming One Act Circuit which is due to start in little over a months time culminating in the Finals in the Mill Theatre, Dundrum from Dec 2nd-4th.

    Personally I have a real fondness for the One Act circuit as I feel it allows groups to push the creative boundaries that they may be somewhat restricted to do on the full length circuit. I feel the standard of the groups like the full length circuit is of the highest caliber, as people often say they are 'Professional Amateurs'.

    So as we are in a time where information is quickly found with the click of a button, does anyone have an idea of what groups are taking to the stage this year? I know festival lines ups may not be out for a couple of weeks more but if your are participating feel free to chime in!
    I am aware that the reigning Open section champions Bradan Players will not be active, where as another heavyweight in Prosperous Dramatic Society are returning to the One acts.

    Any other insight on to what plays your groups may be doing? or if you will be inactive this time round?
