Issue after water damage

Apologies if this is not the correct forum for this. I'm hoping someone may be able to help out or point me in the right direction.

The weekend before last, I had a flood in my house after a pipe sheared off the rear of our immersion tank. Water came through ceiling, light fittings etc. Yesterday we tried getting everything back to some sort of normality. Our issue now is that we can't get any TV signal on any TV in the house. Were would be the first place to start looking for issues?

I had a signal booster behind the TV that did get very wet but even after replacing that along with the socket on the wall there is still no signal at TV. Could there be any connections behind the wall which could have got damaged?

This is just terrestrial TV we're talking? Do you know if the 'booster' is an actual amplifier or, a power supply for a remotely located amplifier?

Presumably if you know for certain what it is, you replaced like-with-like?

From what point are all the TVs fed?

The booster I am unsure about. It was here when we moved in so we left it as it was. It's a box that is plugged into the power, the aerial feeds into it and then there are 2 output feeds to the downstairs tv. It's the same then for upstairs. It has been exchanged for similar.

The TV points both upstairs and downstairs are fed direct from the aerial on the roof but I think there could also be something in the attic but I haven't had a chance to get up for a proper look.

A pic (or weblink) of the new booster/amp would help identify it.

So does this unit feed both upstairs and downstairs TVs or is there a similar unit upstairs?

What do the 2 output feeds downstairs connect to?

The "something" in the attic could be a masthead amp powered by a remote power supply or a passive splitter, again a pic would help identify.

It is similar to what's in the link below but has just 2 outputs. These then connect into the back of a tv in the living room and a tv in the kitchen. There is also one of them upstairs and those outputs go to 2 TVs in bedrooms. I'll get up to the attic tomorrow and get a look and some photos of what is there.

As the problem affects both upstairs and downstairs the split in the attic or the aerial may be at fault.

Do you still have the damaged unit, if so what identifying markings are on it?

This is what is in my attic. It turns out that the cable which loops between the 2 boxes had become dislodged probably by the plumber when he was up checking the main tank. I've connected it back up and all tvs work again. Thanks for the help.

Masthead amp and power supply there, probably since analogue TV days. If that setup is still working correctly with Saorview the amps at the TV points shouldn't be required, simple splitter should do the job.

The 2 boxes are a masthead amp. power supply, & a distribution amplifier. Then you have the other 2 distribution amps. feeding the TVs, presumably these being more recent additions to fend off increasing signal loss due to aging of the system.

Shouldn't need 3 stages of amplification in a simple home setup, it must be in need of a bit of an overhaul, probably losing signal in old cables, & some of those connections seem to be showing the effects of damp, but I suppose if it works ...

As I said, the boosters were in place when we moved in so thought it best to leave them as they were. As for signs of damp, the roof had a leak at one stage so that makes sense. The attic is getting a complete overhaul next month so this will be added to the list because I would like proper tv points in each room rather than the way it is at the minute. Again thanks for the help.
