Shakespeare as a comparative

Hi, I'm teaching the Shakespearian text as a comparative for the first time this year. The text is Macbeth, I have only taught Shakespeare as the single text previously and I'm just looking for guidelines/notes on how best to approach teaching it under cultural context and general vision and viewpoint. Is there any books with notes or any websites that can even help guide me in the direction of Shakespeare as a comparative? Any help greatly appreciated!
