Powerline adaptors 2000mbps

Hi, I'm upgrading the network at home and I was looking at 1200mbps powerline adaptors but have just seen that there are now 2000mbps adaptors also.
My new router is a Huawei E5186 using 4g for the internet, there are 4 gigabit ethernet lan ports.

Excuse my ignorance but will the 2000mbps adaptors be any good to me and explain how the 2000mbps could benefit me.

The powerline adaptors will be mainly for streaming around the house and occasionally downloading and watching Amazon FTV.

Its very probable that AV600's will perform just as well as AV2000's. The wiring of the home tends to really reduce returns after a certain point.

With a 4G connection you're only in the range of 40-80Mb sustained so even 10/100 system would do fine unless you have lots of local - local traffic.

Can anyone recommend a "good"
- triple set powerline kit with Wi-Fi that won't break the bank.

I already have a system used for a TV system (its a few years old so I don't think I can add to it)

I have set up a study room upstairs and need good connection to the internet - hence I need a triple set (1 x output & 2 receivers)

I see the

Is there much difference?
(my house is about 20 years old, wiring was done by "Roland Rat" (all over the place), with Eir on efibre probably getting up to 30 Mb if connected to the router (supposed to be 60MB).

Your wiring could end up being a huge issue for you, as in the homeplugs may not likely work at all, if my own mother's older house was anything to go by, and if you have a split circuit you can forget about it....

Yet my own house is more modern and they work really well...

What I would recommend doing is buying these from Amazon and if they don't work, send them back...

i have powerline and I've used tp-link .. found devolo to be better ( http://www.laptopsdirect.ie/bct/networking/devolo-powerline-network-adapters?fsim) but only get about 40Mbs ( 4MB/s) and they are rated 650

Search Amazon uk for the BT 500 set. You can get one of the units as a wifi hotspot.

I'm already using a generic powerline adaptor that came with a Sat receiver, works well (but I have never speed tested it)
Should be part of "Building Standards" Ethernet ports in every room (when I'm running the Country)

Set them us and working very well so far. Wifi in kitchen has gone from 1-4mbps to 30+ mbps (using speedtest)
That's not bad.
