So, it says Alexis became their brother, then sister then their brother again.
    Is that transgendered though?

He was all things to all people - but not at the same time

Seems so. Identified female, then transitioned. I guess, identified male some time after that? Never transitioned back to male though, going by this:

I remember her from the Wedding Singer- she was good in that.

He was briefly in Pulp Fiction.
While Jules and Vincent interrogate Brad and his gang he hides in the toilet clutching a heavy revolver.
After Brad and his friends are shot dead following "The path of the righteous man.." speech he bursts through a door and blazes away screaming "Die you motherf*ckers!"

Apparently, at the time of his death, he was identifying as male so his family are respecting his wishes and referring to him as male.

Then surely he was just male?

Loved his sister Patricia in True Romance, knew his other sister Rosanna was in Pulp Fiction. Did not know he was in Pulp Fiction as well

At the time of his death, he considered his gender to be male, going by the family's statement. Prior to that, no.

Not sure why you want to simplify down something that isn't simple, or even focus on it all that much at all. Is it very important? Surely the story here is that he has died? His gender and sex don't appear to have been factors in his death.

Because it's absolute nonsense that we live in a world where you can decide to be a different sex depending how you're feeling that particular day. He was born male, and died male.

A person died. How they viewed their gender is none of our busines imo. I think it's absolute nonsense that we live in a world where many posters are more concerned by the the dead persons feeling of gender than by the fact that they are dead.

I managed to type that post without using he or she at all. It's not that difficult.

Yeah, I gathered that was your opinion. Why air it here? Start a thread called "Transgenderism is BS" or something. Cite Alexis Arquette as an example. Doing it here turns a thread about a person's death into a row about a well-worn topic.

Transgender is not bullshyt. Deciding you want to be a different gender, then being like my bad, I'm bored now, time to go back to being male again is.

Then start a thread on that.

Remember seeing Rosanna and Patricia on Oprah talking about all their family issues but not sure Alexis got a mention. Think David was the main topic of conversation as he had just broke with with Courtney.

Anyway, RIP. To me she'll always be the really bad Boy George impersonator in The Wedding Singer.

What harm of it? I don't understand transgender, or why you'd want to identify as a different gender depending on how you're feeling. But I have bigger problems in my life so not going to waste my time going around telling people how they can and cannot identify , live and let live..

No, that was Rosanna Arquette, their sister. Alexis played the 'Fourth Man' who couldn't shoot straight.

I know but a poster thought Rosanna played the character that was played by Uma Thurman.

Mod: This is a thread about the death of a person. If you can't show some respect for a human life ending, don't post in here. This isn't the place for an argument over what people speculate about Arquette's gender. Given the statement, there's some leeway over he/she, just don't take the piss.
