Diploma still a thing?

Hi, I haven't been to college in years so I'm a little out of my depth with the lingo.
I'm thinking of applying for the following course

    https://www101.dcu.ie/...ation%2520Technology

But it says that after level 1 and 2 you are awarded a diploma, I thought the diploma grade was gone since we went to the new system?

Would this be the same as an ordinary degree?

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

Your link isn't working - I think many courses still declare themselves as diplomas and would sit at Level 6 on the NFQ.
