Orientation tour before interview?

    Hi guys.

I did an online assessment last Tuesday for a job in a multinational. I have been called to do an interview this Tuesday but before the interview there will be an orientation tour.

This is the bit that I am unsure about because I have never heard of doing an orientation tour scheduled to last an hour before an interview and neither has anyone I have talked to and google has turned up nothing either.

Any of you guys have any experience with this kind of thing?

Dunno what type of role you're applying for but it's very common in large firms for graduate roles. Often quite a big do with lots of other applicants, speakers from the firm to give you an idea about the work they do, the ethos of the place, and generally get a feel for what it's like there. Gives you an opportunity to suss the place out and ask questions about the role and find out what it's like from people in the role.
