Where would I go, or how would I fix yellow, scratched headlights? The car failed the nct because of it:mad: Plus it looks sh!te.

Got the car cheap so not looking to spend much money.

    I'm based in Dublin.

    Thanks....

Urban myth has it that toothpaste works a treat on a headlight lense gone yellow. Obviously won't sort scratches but maybe source second hand ones from a scrapyard if they still don't pass the NCT?

You can get them polished or polish them yourself. There are kits available in Halfords.

Toothpaste or ciff, car passes nct every time and especially being spurious headlights too.

T-cut and a bit of elbow grease sorted it for me.

a quick compound with a dual action polisher or elbow grease will sort them in the medium term
