Hello everyone. I am struggling to find someone who knows saabs in Midlands. Problem is that car doesn't recognise the key. When I press any buttons, car does nothing, when turn the key, car says "key is not accepted". Any advice please? It happened before but then after for while car accepted the key, now it has just completely shut down. Please and thanks for an advice.

just in case if that makes more sence, it is 2004 year, so the car is in-between opel and saab

When you say any buttons you mean to lock/unlock the doors?

i've got key tested, key is fine, got new cars' battery as the other one was old, just car doesn't recognise the key. I was told it is immobilisor by not looking even the car, the thing is if that was immo, my car displays that, car says just that key is not accepted.

On my opinion it could be immobiliser or the antenna that picks up the keys signal perhaps.

in my opinion i need someone who can program the key with car..car says that key is not accepted not that immobilizer failure..so i am looking for someone who can program saabs' key, saab that is half an opel and another half saab..something like that

It's a known issue on a SAAB 9-3. Google it.

so what happened was, one place that tested the key, said that key is working but that guy does not do saabs so was not able to program a new key, another one who does saabs, said that key had very low signal, programmed a new key using old key, also said that 99% it is a key, no need full car for fix the problem, just an old key for programming and problem solved. Car is running again. Happy days :)
