Thing is I am not sure that the work will be done before the end of the year, which is the end date for the current grant scheme where I would be able to claim a tax credit of 4k over two years. Hi

In process of getting contractors estimates for work on house. Will cost in and about 50-60k. Thing is I am not sure that the work will be done before the end of the year, which is the end date for the current grant scheme where I would be able to claim a tax credit of 4k over two years.

I am wondering does anyone know if there is likely to be another extension of this scheme? Would rather not rush the job but the tax incentive is substantial chunk of money for me.
