Just wondering can you get a prescription filled if prescribed by an Irish dr but filled in Australia?

I'm not really sure what you mean. Did you get the prescription in Ireland or by an Irish doctor registered in Australia?
I would imagine that you would need to get a prescription from an Australian registered doctor but someone else may be able to confirm this.

I went to 2 pharmacies with my irish doctor's prescription. They told me they couldn't fill it.

Had to get an Australian doctor to match the prescription.
