Anxiety

I wasn't sure if I should post this thread on this one. Please reply if I have commented in the wrong spot.

For some reason I can get really upset easily. My eyes water and it's hard not to cry. This usually happens when I'm doing maths or I did something wrong and I may get in troblue. Like when I was stuck on some questions and went up to the teacher to help, I had to try not to cry. I was speaking very low and my eyes were all watery. Another time this happened to me but it wasn't as bad, I was doing Irish and never finshed it. I gotten a bit upset and then went back to normal a few moments later. It was really weird. I don't get upset easily on the internet because in my opinion, if someone was talking to you irl and said ''You should kill yourself'' and can be really upseting. But you can't talk in words and not as scary. Is there a disorder of this type of anxiety or is it just normal? Also is there any way I can stop my anxiety?

Firstly, are you under any extreme pressure at home or in school? That could explain your stress if you have not outlet for it.

Secondly get yourself to a GP or a consular, they can advise you better

I am sure you were saying you were not under extreme pressure OP. Talk to your support teacher, its quite likely that he/she could help find you a counsellor, as silverbolt suggested, who could help give you some advice on ways of coping with your problem.

Meanwhile one little trick if you are feeling teary is to take a deep breath in through your nose and out slowly through your mouth. If you can do it a couple of times - if you are in your seat and not actually talking to someone, it could be helpful.
