Fees increase

Alright folks,

I have a quick question about colleges increasing fees after the student has agreed to sign up. I applied and was accepted way back when the fees for last year was all that was available. Now when I've gone to pay I see there has been an increase, and I was told nothing about it and made my budget on the old info. I know colleges can set whatever price they like, but can they increase after someone has signed up with no notice or option to change their mind?
