    I was only thinking how lovely it was the other day...a whole summer with no sales people coming to the door....well it's certainly being made up for this week. As soon as the kids go back to school, the hawkers are at the door again trying to sell you what you don't need. No thanks. I ignore the door bell. The simple truth is that anyone calling to the door is looking for something....and I ain't buying, so move along

    They usually come at 8.30 in the morning , the annoying one's call around 3pm.
