Mediation agreement and house transfer

    Hi

I have gone through the mediation process and agreed upon a figure that I would be paid that would allow her to keep the house. During the mediation process she insisted that the once the agreement was finalished it would only take 2 week for the draw down of cash from the bank.

We got a finalished agreement on the 16th of August. Turns out she did not submit stuff to the bank till start of september. Now got a phone call today to say that the money cannot be handed over until the documents relating to the transfer of ownership are signed and her solicitor will only be sending a request today for the deeds to the bank.

    1) Is the above true that i cannot get my settlement until house is transferred or is this her acting on her own best interest?

    2) If ,what she has said is true, then what type of time frame are we looking at for the above process?

if anybody can direct me to online information i would appreciate it

To be honest those are questions for your solicitor.
