If my cousin has had a bench warrant issued for them in Ireland but they live in the UK would they be arrested when entering the country going through passport control at Dublin airport?

Assuming this to be a theoretical question...

If your cousin has an outstanding warrant and they come in to Dublin they are then within the jurisdiction. Ergo, they could be arrested

Simple answer they may be arrested on return. If the matter is serious enough and your cousin is the accused then Ireland may issue a European Arrest Warrant.

Moderation: Your cousin should be seeking professional legal advice, we can't give advice around these parts.
