Does anyone know where I can find the attendance figure for this years football championship matches? I have gone trough match reports and got a few but that could take a long time getting them all.
Is there any site that has them all listed there with the results?
My nephew is doin a small project on the gaa vs English premier league match attendance's.

I've wondered that myself, as it says it's a 'sell-out', but when i've been at the game, there's clearly still lots of empty seats & also at The Boss Concert as well!

Makes me think, how many seats is a sell out ;)

Surprisingly, Wikipedia has become quite useful for this sort of thing, and for going back through the archives. It would be really nice if the GAA had a dedicated archives section with historical results/reports of all matches.

This page has the qualifier and All Ireland series matches for 2016:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_All-Ireland_Senior_Football_Championship

Of course, being Wikipedia you can't be 100% sure the attendances are accurate, but the sources are provided.

After this each of the provincial pages have the provincial championship matches and attendances:

    Leinster
    Munster
    Connacht
    Ulster

Thanks very much. We were on wikipedia but couldn't manage to locate the individual matches.
The nephew is delighted. If only we could get the actual breakdown of home and away fans(Asking too much??)
It was mainly the provisional finals and quarter finals onwards he needed.
    Thanks again

No way you would get this. No games are segregated so outside of serason tickets everything is a generic ticket.

Ga,es selling out and games being full are two different things. You see it a a lot at say the Emirates or Etihad where Season Ticket holders would be counted in the attendance whether they come or not.
