    Does anyone else find this text tone really annoying?? I'm sick to bloody death of the sound of "HO HA HEE HWEE HOO" being inflicted on me every single day in work and on the train. I can't fathom how Samsung phone owners can tolerate it, never mind everyone else :mad:

    Ugh that drives me mad too! I used to work with a guy who had it set as his text ring tone, and whenever he got a text and his phone whistled, he would whistle the same thing back. So annoying!

    I had a job interview with one of the guys behind Crazy Frog. He seemed quite proud of his achievement but came across as a bit of a smug ****. I had to resist the urge to punch him in the face and politely declined the job offer.

    I'm grateful you put that in, tbh, I was trying to work out what ringtone it could be. Knew it when I heard it, but I guess I'm not around a lot of Samsung users lately!

    And yeah, after Crazy Frog, nothing can be quite as awful.

    There was a very similar if not identical sound in the three stooges. I think it's what zoidbergs noise is based on

    The Nokia tone is pleasant enough on first listen.

    When samsung phones first started to take off I assumed that sound was some twat in my office actually whistling occasionally. Like a whistling Tourette's.

    iPhones seem to be on mute or vibration mode these days.

    Dead right. I don't take the train often but just last week I did and there was come old codger with a massive Galaxy Note and the whistle went off what felt like very 5 minutes. It was so annoying, I tried to get some kip and later as I was half concious I roared out 'OH TURN IT DOWN' when I heard it again. Half the carriage must have heard me.

    That didn't work. So I took out my Samsung, when to the notifications sections, and whenever his went off I immediately pressed mine 3 times. "HO HA HEE HWEE HOO" then "HO HA HEE HWEE HOO" "HO HA HEE HWEE HOO" "HO HA HEE HWEE HOO"

    I think he got the message eventually but not sure if was because of my reaction.
