10 Year Old Weathered Deck Fence Spindels, Paint, Stain or Oil

My Garden Decking Fence spindels look really terrible, they have not been treated in about 10 years allthough the wood is sound they look crap grey and bits of old stain on parts that is shaded from the sun, Is it best to sand them down ( a lot of work ) or strip them or just paint over them which i think could be possibly…

Check out some of the products that these guys have on offer http://www.igoe.ie/ . No connection with them but use owtrol and textrol and find them very good but expensive.
