    Hi there,

I've had a nexus 5 for nearly three years now, has always done the job for me. Unfortunately its getting old, seen better days (rear camera broken, flex cable acting up so call quality is not 100%) so its time to upgrade it.

I can get a 5x for about 250 but I haven't been keeping up with phone a huge amount so what am I missing out on in terms of tech these days?
There are a few phones around the same price point (Motorola Moto G4 plus etc) or its only an extra 50/60 euros to look at a oneplus 2.
What would the relative advantages of those phones be?

I'm mostly normal phone use, not much in the way of games, use it for podcasts and radio, viber/whatsapp/skype etc.

    Any advice is appreciated :D

Still rocking my Nexus 5 since launch day, its going great bar the battery showing signs of age. Tbh i wouldnt get the 5x just yet if you you really wanted it, the new Nexus line is due out fairly shortly so id keep an eye on the google store or even carphonewharehouse up north (they had it at £169 at one stage) Im not sure if it is a huge upgrade compared to your 5 but it will be getting upgrades for a good while yet.

The oneplus2 is a great phone , my brother has it and i have to say i really like it. Seems a great all rounder and very snappy, id definitely take it over the Moto G.
