No newsfeed on Facebook

    So my iphone 6 died today, its been on the way out for a few months now, I was hoping it would last me til next month when I'm due an upgrade, anyway it didnt, so I went to the phone shop to buy a cheap android smart phone (vodafone smart plus 7) that would keep me going for a few weeks.
    I downloaded the facebook app and logged in, but its seems as if facebook think I'm a new user, I've no newsfeed or no friends. Any advice?

    There is usually already a FB app installed on new phones.
    Try deleting the downloaded app and use the native login instead.

    Are you sure that you logged in to the correct account? I know a few people who have created second accounts when they thought there was something wrong with the first one/couldn't log in and then forget about the second one when they regain access to the first.

    Can you search for yourself and see if it is the same account?

    That was it, I had created a 2nd account! So how do I delete this new account and log onto my original? damn android phone has my head wrecked...

    Click Log Out and then log in with the right dcredentials
