My jeeps drivers window has been giving problems now for a couple of years, it keeps stopping when its going down or down but never when it goes up its fine,I changed the regulator last year and that sorted the problem for a little while but now its doing it worse than ever, anyone know what could be wrong or a mechanic near cork city that would be good with this sort of thing?

What make? Jeep Wrangler, Cherokee, or Grand Cherokee?

If the channels are clear, then the cheapest fix would be to get the entire loom and sensors from a crashed one.
