All of AH moderators being male, and sexist threads allowed.

It has come to my attention the following:

Every After Hours Moderator and Category Moderator of this forum are male.

Sexist threads including Derogoratory comments about women are abounding, including the recent:

'Lame or embarrassing things you fapped to before you had internet porn', that is dominated by male voices and includes the phrases:

'That was before I found pussy!',
    'An abundance of muff!'
    'hairy muffs everywhere!'

When it was brought to the attention of a moderator (male) that this could be considered offensive to women, instead of professionally moderating and telling me that they would look into it and check it out, I was shot down straight away and told what I was saying was rubbish,

    Thoughts?

When they tell me why they deleted the first one, (because they didn't like it is not a legitimate reason to delete).

Answer me this. Why are there no female moderators on this forum?

Circumstance more than anything else most likely. People aren't chosen for their ability to mod based on their gender (as that would be sexist which you're obviously against). But throughout most of AH's history (including when the thread in question was first created), there have been female mods of AH. Two of the greatest AH mods ever were female.

You're looking for sexism where there isn't any.

I think your problem is not with the moderators themselves. It is that you don't agree with the rules and etiquette of the forum and are shocked by things which are indeed allowed by the rules.

Maybe just post on and read other forums? (most of them have much more restrictive rules)

    You should post in feedback.

I'm surprised there aren't any female mods here but it's probably not by design, more just the way it turned out. Would be nice to have a few more women in charge around here.

What about that topic that claimed all men leave skid marks in their underwear?
    Which is not true.
It was done by a woman and it was allowed.

Are you assuming genders OP? Not very PC to assume ones gender.

I was corresponding with a few different posters, who were also upset by the 'Embarrassing things you fapped to' thread, who informed that there are no female Mods left on here anymore.

Yet they've not 'thanked' your OP as a gesture of support......

I guess I'll respond with my standard response to outrage for the sake of outrage:
"Don't want a gay marriage? Don't have one. Don't want an abortion? Don't have one. Don't like a light hearted thread in AH? Don't read it."

What about the point that for about 35 of the 39 page thread, there were female mods of AH?

Remember too that just because there are no female mods doesn't mean female posters haven't been asked and declined. Would you want to mod this train wreck?

They also didn't feel brave enough to speak in the public thread, 'Embarrassing things I've fapped to'.

Anyway I'm not talking on behalf of them. It is me who has posted this OP.

Someone just asked me on here - did I assume that no moderators were female, and I said, no, I didn't know, I was informed.

Not all the AH mods are men. Maybe get your facts straight before trotting out the usual tired old third-wave feminist tropes.

The thread 'Lame or embarrassing things you fapped to before you had internet porn' is aimed at men, who will tell things that men did. If you dont want to hear about it then dont read it.
Its the beautiful thing about texted based communication. You can choose to not read it. Nobody has come to you house and shouted these things at you.
