    Iv a van (141 primastar)

Seat foam on one side is not great. Same with the the fabric from lots of in and out of the van.

Can you buy just a Base rather than a full seat?

I'd say you'd pick up a seat that will fit, from a scrap yard, without too much trouble.

Primastar/Trafic/Vivaro all used the same seat - bound to be loads of those around and not too difficult to find one with a decent seat in.

A main dealer will be able to get you a new one but be prepared to pay.... As said by ROR, a visit to a scrap yard should get you one easily enough, that particular model is known for chronic gearbox failure so there should be a few scrapped around the place.
