    you're probably better off buying them over. A wealth of ethnic/backpacker style clothing in most of the markets around Asia

    I second this. Nothing I brought with me was remotely light enough for the heat and I ended up buying bits very cheaply over there that were much more suitable. I'd advise against bring too much stuff with you as you end up carrying them around for the 3 weeks. Buy stuff over there and have it laundered in your hotel or in a local laundry which only costs the equivalent of a couple of euro.

    Edit: oops I read that as you were going for 3 weeks, instead of going in 3 weeks!
