Has the W channel (formerly known as Watch) been removed from the fta list ? I used to be able to view it with my sky fta card but can no longer do so.

Sorry if this has already been asked (Its very hard to search for a single letter)

Watch or W as it is known now has never been a fta channel. We are hoping it will become free as its sister channels, Yesterday, Really and drama are fta for a few months now.

With my sky ftv card in a VU+Duo2 (card gives me channels like Sony, Motors UK etc), I was getting W for the past year.

we know that but as stated W has never been either FTV I would imagine that you had another channel tuned in and it had the label W...what programmes were you watching on it

He already said, sony tv and motors tv which indeed are ftv channels...
also Insight HD is now ftv and isnt a bad channel at times.

He said channels like. Anybody getting W on a Vu+ Duo2 and a FTV card is doing something they shouldn't be doing.

Hence why I stated it was not an FTV channel in thread no 2 and never has been.

Proper freq for this channel is
    11523
    H
    DVB-S
    QPSK
    22000 5/6

A while back, Watch started testing FTA as per this thread
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=85213153

I tuned that in, and have had Watch ever since. Bear in mind, it only works (or at least used to work) with the Sky ftv card.

That was a freesat freq never managed to get it to work myself....I would imagine in time it will become fta as its sister channels have been a great revenue success going fta and Home has been added to the freeview system in the uk so is rumored to be next to come free on sat.

I had those channels on a FTV card from Setanta which I got for watching their FTV programmes.
I do not recall having Watch (or W) at the time.
