Poland for over 90 days

    Hi,

I am going to be studying for one semester in Poland. I've read online about only being able to stay for 90 days within 180 days each year.

Can anyone explain this? I'm an Irish citizen. My study abroad in Poland will last for just over 5 months. Will I be able to stay in Poland this long?

I emailed the university and they said ONE stay should not be longer than 90 days and its ok if go abroad (back to Ireland is probably where I'd go) and then re-enter Poland again. Can anyone confirm if this is the case?

    Thanks!
