Electric picnic wardrobe malfunctions or fashion statements?

Trying to get back to normality after a wonderful weekend at EP :) , Iv'e been to plenty of music festivals over the years but this was my first one in 5 years and I have to say I was a bit taken aback by some of the outfits on display, I understand it's a music festival and not a fashion show and people don't really care what you wear but from what I seen I really couldn't work out whether some women were having wardrobe malfunctions or this is genuinely acceptable dress code for festivals.

Over the course of the 3 days I lost count of the amount of bums I seen. Obviously shorts are very popular at festivals but some women would have been better off just walking around in a thong for the weekend the shorts were that small and high up. Leggings are the most comfortable invention ever but I must have missed the new fashion craze to walk around wearing them so low that your practically flashing half your ass at every person you walk past.

Cleavage is cleavage but some were pushing it to the absolute limit to the point where the outline of nipples could be seen factor this is in with some women not wearing bras and then jumping up and down to the music it's just a recipe for disaster.

Now obviously not every woman dressed like this for the weekend I seen some really amazing creative outfits as well. I understand the likes of EP only comes around once a year and festivals are a perfect opportunity to express yourself and to let loose for the duration of the weekend but is it really necessary to wear little or no clothing for the weekend it's not as if the weather was glorious. The fact that EP is very much a family orientated festival as well doesn't help the situation either, If I was a parent I wouldn't be too impressed walking around with my kids while there's women stumbling around drunk in little or nothing and occasionally squatting down to take a piss in plain sight of everyone it just sends out the wrong message.

Like I said the majority of people weren't like that and people are entitled to wear what they want and behave anyway they like. I'm just curious did anybody else witness this or what their opinion is on the situation. The fact that it's been 5 years since my last festival maybe I was just a bit shocked and forgot what a festival environment is actually like.

I haven't been to Electric Picnic so I haven't seen the offensive style. As a parent I would be a lot less impressed with someone urinating or throwing up in public than worry how their style will impact my little darlings. However as bitch I would happily snigger at people wearing outfits I consider tasteless. (I never said I am nice).
