I agree with that article, Lee - Jacobs makes a lot of sense.

Lee was on Second Captains on Monday and said he was looking to fight Golovkin but recognised he would need to hold a title to get it. He said Jacobs is a more feasible opponent and something should be announced in the next few weeks.

He also said he was in talks to fight Golovkin after Golovkins people rang his before Eddie Hearn stepped in with Kell Brook.

I'd worry for Lee against GGG, he's piss easy to hit. if he made it past round 2 he'd be doing well.

I reckon it'd be a similar affair to the JCC jr fight, Lee could probably outbox him until the middle rounds but Golovkins power would get to him eventually.

Lee takes a good punch, but like you say he ships far too many

I used to think he takes a good punch. He doesn't. He has been dropped and badly wobbled many times. Not a glass chin, but fragile.

I think he did in the beginning, it's just he has shipped so much punishment his punch resistance isn't what it was. Andy Lee has little chance against Golovkin. I do believe he has the punching power to trouble Golovkin, but triple G would deal with him the way he did Lemeiux(?), albeit far more swiftly.
