Best fitness app

    Hello

I am looking for advice on a fitness app to use, for what I want I assume a subscription will be necessary but ok with that

Functionality I'm looking for is as follows:

    - interval training (e.g. it will beep or something to tell me to go from running to brisk walking)
    - some way of gauging speeds e.g. I enter I want a target speed of 12km/h and it lets me know (again by beeping or something) that I am at or above that speed
    - tracks calories burned reasonably accurately

Or is the case that a FitBit band or something may be a better bet?

Thanks in Advance for the advice

Better off with an entry level GPS watch (e.g. the Garmin Forerunner 2xx series). Skip the subscription-based apps and the Fitbit band.

Review of it^^. I actually have 1 but I prefer phone/strava, not being able to find individual mile times put me off it at beginning, looking through connect app now I still can't, must read review. I don't really run much anymore, mostly do insanity vids now. Think they're better in long run for me. Nice to go out of a good day but they're rare. You'd imagine insanity would make running easier but it doesnt.

not being able to find individual mile times

    ??

if you have the watch set up to autolap every mile, garmin connect will show you your time for each mile

Just use the autolap counter and you see your mile splits as you do it and looking back
