Got an eye test and replaced my reading two glasses lenses cost €80
However on looking at my prescription I see that it says near' 2.5 add ' on both eyes.
On looking at my previous prescription 4 years ago it says near '2.5' on both eyes ...without the 'add'
Have they ripped me off on lenses I didn't need to change?
Maybe I SHOULDN'T have gone to specsavers and gone somewhere else

After some research It seems that since I now need distance glasses my reading glasses needed to be changed also so I was not ripped off

That's correct. The reading 'add' +2.50 is a level of magnification. It would be added to your distance prescription and so if that has changed or is newly required you would therefore need new reading glasses.
