    Hi all,

Missed orientation due to being ill and starting lectures tomorrow but am completely lost.

Have timetable but first lecture tomorrow morning at 9am is for something completely unrelated to my course.

Where should I go to check this and will they be open early?

    TIA

    What course are you doing?

I presume you dont have a student ID card either as you missed orientation?

Looking at the Timerable MD4021 which I think the one you are referring to is one of the options as per the above list.

You must go about getting a student card so!

http://www.timetable.ul.ie/courselec.asp Link for First Year course timetables here. Put in LM035 and 1 for year

Thank so much, so MD4021 looks correct?

Went out to UL earlier and found the main building (I think) so is this where I need to go to get the student card? Any idea what time reception is open?

Think I've figured out the buildings my lectures are in from the map. God I'm completely winging this, going to be so lost

Student Academic Administration or the SAA will give you a student card.Tell em you missed orientation or they'll charge you a 10er for it.
The Student Academic Administration Office is located in Room E0001 of the Main Building in the University. Our Counter Service is open daily from 9.30 to 12.30 and 2.30 to 4.30.

Will do. Will I be able to attend the first lecture without it?

I find that Zen Navigation is the way to go in these situations. Find somebody that looks like they know where they're going, and follow them. Don't make it obvious, or you might freak them out.

Definitely part of the plan as soon as I know where to start :)

You will be able to attend it without a student card.

Brilliant thanks, got a text to say that I need to complete registration before 9.30am so I'll go to the first 2 lectures and head to the main building then

At least a plan is forming now :-)
