Need new jeans and want to buy a couple of pairs of Armani ones that I have seen online.

In terms of sizing, I assume that they are a tighter fit. I am 34 in Gant/Levis - was thinking of buying a 36 waist.

Can anyone advise if this is correct?

Stick with whatever size you normally take and make sure that the site has a good exchange policy. I recently ordered something from Mr Porter (which doesn't stock Armani, unfortunately) that was a size too big but the exchange policy was a dream.

it depends on the actual jeans model, type of leg and rise.

the fit is dictated by a letter (j) and two numbers, something like j00

check the materials, if elastane is present chances are they are slim fit at the very least

I believe house of fraser in Dundrum sell "Armani", however it is the general low end Armani, the fit is on the smaller side! For proper Armani, visit an Armani store or a "higher" end store - expect to pay at least a minimum 400 for the real deal, other wise it is just the low end stuff for chain stores etc Better off buying a nice pair of Gstar or something if thats the route your going!
