    My mothers car is due the nct. If I phone up the nct crowd to make an appointment, can I pay at the centre rather than doing it online

    Yep, you can check appointment availability online by putting in any reg number. As long as you don't confirm it the slot remains unbooked, then phone them up and ask for that slot, then pay at the centre.
