Called Heist the winner in a photo finish when it was Down Under who was clearly the winner. Had a nice wedge on Down Under and I believe there is an inquiry going on over the decision. Did anybody see it?

I watched the race but didn't see the photo. I was sure Down Under won it looking at live so didn't even leave the channel on for the result. Any prints of the photo going around?

No prints going around. Didnt even show it on Attheraces which they should of as it was a photo finish. You can watch race replay on ATR website. I have watched it several times and honestly cant come to the conclusion how they could say Heist won let alone won by a short head. Even Conor Brassil thought he won.

Heist on the outside was called the winner?

That could be deceptive given it's not a straight angle but that certainly does look strange

Actually just had a look around for a copy of the photo and didn't come across it either. I always think it's great to see them and compare them to what's showing in stills of camera footage as from what I remember the TV cameras are never actually 'on' the line (only stewards camera is allowed to be in perfect 'line' with the line) and the difference in the still shot can be much more dramatic than expected, though her a shirt head seems like quite a distance.

Im hearing there is an inquiry ongoing over this and the result may be over turned, although I doubt that. Its a joke when people are been done out of there hard earned on shocking decisions like these especially when theyve clearly won.

The finish line is roughly where the horses tails are in those 2 photos so not sure what they are supposed to prove ??

Neither of those are on the line at all and the line is at quite an angle too. ATR showed the print on the night and it was clear, they also showed a still right on the line which made it plausible.

The print is at 7.03 in this video:

Thanks for that I honestly missed the photo finish on ATR. Never looked to be headed on the run in to the line. Puts that to bed so.
