Smell of gas in living room

Hi is it normal to smell some gas in the house when you turn your rads down and are only using the boiler to heat the hot water tank in the house?

I smell some gas in my living room and not sure why as I only run the boiler for like 45 minutes a day to get hot water and turn down most radiators in the house

If you are sure it is Gas I would get a technician out pronto.

Could be gas or fumes so you need to keep it well ventilated while its on and get it looked at PRONTO.
If it is in the house BG will just lock up the meter till you get fit fixed and certified as fixed so u may need backup cooking
