claim medical expenses on carers allowance

    Can anyone please tell me if you can claim medical expenses while you are on carers allowance ??

    Medical expenses for who/what? If C.A. is your only income, you should be entitled to a Medical Card. Do you have one?

    It's actually for braces. I want to claim back my 20% but not sure it applies if on carers.

    You need to be paying tax to claim the 20% you don't pay tax on carers allowance

    No you can't claim money back for braces.
