Door frames for shaker oak Doors?

Hi,hope this is right section. About to choose door frames to go with our shaker oak Doors but no idea of what colour type etc to go with,any suggestions please greatly appreciated.tia

First bit of advice is get solid wood not the foil covered mdf frames.
Imho a satin finish white or off white looks good alongside oak, ral 9003 is a nice white not too bright, also with shaker doors the rebated door frame looks sharper than the planted on door stop type frame.
