This post is about renewal of susi for 2nd year. On 15th of August I recieved a letter that susi appeal was unsuccessful for special maintaince rate.The next day I appealed to the student board.My question is:
1.How long do they usually take to make decisions?
2. If boards dont reply till after the 1st grant payment what happens...how much am i paid on the 1st payment date, as I am still waiting for the boards decision?
3.Do you have any experiences with the Student boards?

AFAIR when appealing you dont recieve any payments until a decision has been reached. Should you miss a payment date and are successful you should get a double payment on the next date.
