Camera repair

    Looking for some advice please. I have a Canon still camera 350D and I need to have the micro usb socket replaced. Does anyone know where I can get this done .Thank you

    In all honesty you're probably better off considering a new camera. The cost of the part and labour will probably not be far off a much newer camera. At the very least it would equal the cost of buying a fully working second hand 350D. I had a look there and theres one for sale on adverts.ie for €120, another for €130.

    If you really dont want to replace the camera just get yourself a USB card reader and then take the memory card out to transfer pictures. Its a simple alternative to using the cameras built in usb port.
