(posted in DIY, but perhaps better response in here)

Say I have a wall with white plug socket, white TV aerial socket and white light-switch, and I just change the plug socket for a chrome effect will it look mismatched?

Is the norm to change everything to chrome in this case?

Then following on from this, do I need to change the whole house to match, or would having one room using chrome be standard?

I had my heart set on chrome plugs, but then realised it'd probably contrast with the white sockets/switches, so just curious what the approach would be for a professional look.

    Thanks
