    does anyone have any experience with this course? i'm not sure if i should pick it as my third subject or not.

    I did it as my third subject in first year. Specifically the classes 'Intro to Social and Info Computing' and 'Info Design'. It's basically one long thing about how people recognize, interact with and how best to supply information. That's about it. It's very straightforward, won't cause you any kind of trouble but, as consequence, it can be quite dull. A lot of the material, while understandably foundational, can be so basic and obvious that lectures could sometimes drag something rotten.
