Hi All

We are looking for a holiday for the end of October to the beginning of November, mainly looking for sun. Can anyone recommend anywhere we could go for a week? What are the Canary Islands like at that time of year or somewhere else with a similar travel time? Any recommendations for accommodation or areas? We would prefer to fly from Cork but if we got a good deal or place we'd get to Dublin(Cork airport has gotten poor for choice).

Our budget would be around 1000 for a couple, could stretch this a bit if we had to.

Tenerife has all year round sun, its cheap as chips to eat out and get around. We flew from Shannon 2 weeks ago and it took about 4 hours. We stayed in Golf Del sur , which is a quiet area , plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Booze and Cigs are very very cheap too.
