Would anyone have any idea where one would be able to go to inquire about purchasing a golf simulator for installing at home?

I'm willing to spend a fair amount of money on one so would like a quality one with projector etc and I want an accurate one also that could improve my game.

I guess it will depend on your definition of a decent amount.

A good fully installed sim room will set you back about €25,000. That would be using something like Trakman or GC2.

If you want to move up to something like Full Swing or About Golf you could probably add another €10,000.

But it can be done a lot cheaper. If you look at SkyTrak the device comes in a a fifth of the price of its competitors and is a really good piece of kit, sells for about $1800. Of course you need to buy the extras. Big cost is the impact screen, then the HD projector, the PC and lastly how many courses you want.

It can add up quickly if you start adding in artificial turf and sound supression, it can get pretty loud.

If you want any introductions or to see one in a house here in Dublin send me a pm.

Nice thread on it here on golf wrx with links and references to more resources.

If you do install one, will you post here (&/or pm me) with how you got on?

As I've an old boiler house that I might like to make an astro turf room with a golf simulator, table tennis table, etc etc, etc in it but it won't be this year unfortunately
