Any ideas on best set of irons and Driver for a 20 handicapper?
I have two sets of irons, one from from 2002 and one from 2005. Would it make a difference at my level to update?
    Thanks for any advice

Probably not if they're still in good condition. Re-gripping is probably the most cost effective way of rejuvenating old irons.

They're a forged iron afaik. Wouldn't be changing them in a hurry unless they were knackered. Classic cavity back iron from that time.

Ok thanks. Thought the mx 20 might be for lower handicap players.

They'd probably be at the upper end of the game improvement curve, but definitely not out of the reach of a 20 handicapper. Here's a review from golfreview.com by a 20+ handicapper:
Fantastic clubs. They reward every good shot but don't penalize bad shots. Forged irons with lots of feel and forgiveness. They set up as a blade, do not have a thick topline, but have game improvement features as a larger sweetspot and the t zoid bar behind the club face. They are long due to stronger lofts. Very good shafts True Temper Dynamic Gold Lite in decent Golf Pride Grips. I recommend these clubs to anyone with a handicap between 25 and 8!
    Model|Number|Loft|Lie
    Mizuno MX-20|3 Iron|20.0°|59.5°
    Mizuno MX-20|4 Iron|23.0°|60.0°
    Mizuno MX-20|5 Iron|26.0°|60.5°
    Mizuno MX-20|6 Iron|29.0°|61.0°
    Mizuno MX-20|7 Iron|33.0°|61.5°
    Mizuno MX-20|8 Iron|37.0°|62.0°
    Mizuno MX-20|9 Iron|41.0°|62.5°
    Mizuno MX-20|PW|46.0°|63.0°
