Capri (Mk 3) spares in Ireland

    A friend of mine has asked me to check over his 1984 Capri 2.8 injection as he hopes to send it for its NCT .
    It needs the 6 exhaust hangers ( figure of 8) and also the 2 front calipers are pretty much seized.
    Does anyone know of where I might get these items in Ireland ( rebuild kits could do for the calipers). I haven't dismantled the calipers yet but if pistons have rusty spots/marks on them not much point in refitting them.

    Recon calipers can be got from your (good) local motor factor. I know I did for a mk2 Escort and they are the same (except for a spacer)

    I've dealt with him & he's very good.

    I notice OP is in Galway though. You could try Martin Cunningham near Claregalway. Fair while since I was there, but he might be a good bet.

    Now that I think of it, the recon calipers were something like €10 or €20 more than the calipers rebuild kit.
