Skincare overhaul

I've been using the same skincare products forever and think my skin needs a change.

At the moment, all I use is La Roche Posy face wash or cleanser and Olay moisturiser.

I need whatever I use to be non-pore blocking, that's why I've been reluctant to change up my routine.

I'm mid thirties with oily skin that gets blocked pores/milia very easily but is otherwise pretty healthy.

Any suggestions for a new cleanser/moisturiser etc?

Acid toning/ chemical exfoliants have changed my life, I highly recommend Pixi Glow tonic. Nip and Fab glycolic range gets very good reviews (I'm not a fan) and Alpha H Liquid Gold is also highly regarded (pricey but very strong concentration).

You'll need to wear spf every day with these products.

Now is the to. To really invest in your skincare routine. Most of the products you listed only treat the top layer and down get right down to the epidermis I recently changed to environ from image skincare and I can really see a difference I was considering botox for my frown line but I don't need it now all my lines are reduced and I'm only using it since july

+1 for the Pixi Glow Tonic as a toner. Their overnight serum is amazing also.

I had quite bad skin and large pores and using Kinvara cleansing oil every night worked amazing for me. I double cleanse using a face cloth (fresh one every night).

I'd get rid of the face wash (more than likely foaming) and switch to a cleansing balm like Clinique Take The Day Off. Proper cleansing makes a huge difference

Hi Mzo1987, do you find environ a lot better than Image? I currently use Image (2years now) In fairness to the products It did get rid of my adult acne with the clear cell cleanser, (i'm 30), but now my concern is more so aging now and slowing that down!! (Eye bags main issue), I heard about environ from a friend of mine, but the place i currently go to for my skin and facials etc, they don't supply environ. :( (renaissance howth) Do you mind me asking where you buy environ? Thanks

I currently use la Roche Posay effaclar foam cleanser and switched to the Take the day off last year. Disaster, I ended up with very sore spots along my jawline which took over a week to go down.

Recently changed from (mostly) image to (mostly) environ. I'm only 3 or 4 weeks in so I can't give 100% honest review but I'm so far thrilled. It wasn't cheap, I spent 345 euro on 7 products. (Environ cleanser and toner, yonka gommage exfoliator, image illumna serum, environ moisturiser level 1, environ SPF and a bottle of image yanna)
I'd have had good skin already but this is next level stuff. My skin looks amazing, clear, plump, and lines are a little reduced. I've had 4 spots since changing but they were literally 4 tiny spots, not big angry inflamed skin.
I'm going to take "after" pics in another few weeks and will compare my image skin with my environ skin.
